Looking for some advice please regarding my Vodafone contract.
I pay £25 a month for a blackberry curve (not the new style either) for that I get 300 minutes , unlimited texts and "unlimited" Internet. Since taking this contract at the end of October 2011 for 2 years. I've found other contract deals ALOT cheaper .
Also I lost my blackberry on holiday in June which they know of and sent me a new sim. I pay an extra £5 on the contract that brings it up to £25 a month for blackberry services. But now I no longer have a blackberry I can no longer use these services.
Is there anyway I can change my contract? To make it a little cheaper
Thankyou x

Unlikley.
If you signed up to a blackberry plan you need to stay on it to the end of the term. If your plan is one called YourPlan (usually YP or YPL on the bill) you cannot downgrade the cost until you have hit the minimum term. Nothing to stop you phoning Vodafone and trying anyway, you may get some reduction, but probalby won't.
Contract deals change all the time, it may be cheaper now but thats irrelevent, you signed up in Oct 2011.
Reember Vodafone subsidised the handset at the start, even though you lost it that subsidy needs to be paid back somehow.0 -
Phone Vodafone and ask them to remove the Blackberry services as you can't use them any more.
Failing that, you can pick up used BB Curve for not much money.0 -

If the original contract was a Your Plan for Blackberry type you cannot remove them until after the minimum term.
Does to harm to phone and try though..0
