  • The Balearic island of Majorca (sometimes known as Mallorca) has some stunning scenery, or if you want something a bit further away, Vietnam is a beautiful country.

Ok thanks all very much. I will consider flying somewhere closer but I may still want to visit Japan. Any ideas? I want to bring my DSLR and take some shots (I'm learning Photography) so a place with good sights would be good!

Could you manage 2 weeks instead of 1? I've just been to Japan and Korea and loved them. I was already in Asia but hubby flew over and joined me for 2 weeks and he managed to do Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul with no problems in that time.

The other advantage of travelling to somewhere closer is that your brother could be included as well. I can't really think of anywhere in Europe where you wouldn't be able to get good photos, but maybe the Alps would be good, perhaps Austria, which is one of my favourite countries.

Thanks, that looks good but I found a cheaper one but I am not sure if there are hidden costs in this, could you take a look?

    Long since expired.

The offer is actually still current but is not a very hot deal as the figure of £265 excludes taxes of £361 giving a total of £626.

Japan is an amazing place. If you could go for 10 days it would be better than a week because there is a lot to see.

Of course you could always just pick a couple of places and leave the rest for another time :)

I stayed in a hotel there that was around £50 an night. Tiny but nice, its called the Oak Hotel.

Of course it is not. This was the original deal.

Well first up I think you would have missed the Aeroflot flight from Rome. Not enough time (providing it is on time) between the Easyjet arrival at. 10.20am and the departure of the Aeroflot flight at 11.45am

My deal in post #2 is more realistic.
