I have found a brilliant new strategy! Last night I drank lots of water before bed so during the middle of the night I inevitably had to get up. Whilst up I blearily put on the washing machine so that it was done when I properly woke up. So one load done by 7.30am! Woohoo!

    My Plans for the Day
Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Bronze
    Clear those hotspots
[STRIKE]Empty the bin and wash if required[/STRIKE]
    Silver
    Hoover and mop floors
    [STRIKE]Shine your sinks[/STRIKE]
    Gold
    [STRIKE]Wipe the sides[/STRIKE]
    Clean WM/DW filters
Wipe out the fridge, use up where required
    Extras
    Non Kitchen- change bed sheets
Non Kitchen- Wash shower curtain. How, who knows? Will I have to buy a new one because I ruin the old one? Possibly:)
Decluttering- dining room/ study and sort out piles in conservatory for charity shop/ sell.

Today will be a brilliant day;) If I get it all done that is.
Mission for 2012- Declutter and get rid of debt!

Aarrgghh - the rain clouds are gathering!

    Kitchen floor washed.
    Hoovering done.
De-spidering done. They're easy - it's the wretched mouse I want to be rid of.

Hospital appointment later so better get a move on.

I've fallen off the Flywagon of late, but need to get back on it now....my extras below are for the week. I don't think I'll get many golds this week as in addition to the distraction of the Olympics it's the Edinburgh Fringe and I'm going to four shows this week :D

Lose my final half pound at Fat Club...
  • Phew! Hi everybody, and here I am dashing back from the two tennis finals yesterday (well done Tim!) :j and ending the day with the 100 metres sprint - flying about everywhere!

Thanks for last week's lists Juliejim - and have a fab holiday, and thank you for this week's Dustykitten - how many events have you watched now?!

I'm really enjoying it and keep repeating, well done, team GB, and what a team they have been.

Flying, I've done the bathroom, kitchen (including sorting the fridge as we go away at the end of the week), put washing away from yesterday and only ironed what was necessary. Yesterday we both sorted our wardrobes and decided on our wedding outfits - we just need to pop to town on Wed to buy a few more things to mix and match. It's been such a nuisance being ill these last two weeks, this should have been sorted by now, and my niece's wedding is to be more formal than I thought.

Anyway, aim is to do a good hour each day in each room now, and we'll do most of the packing on Fri night. I go back to work this week, am in in around an hour, but still have a hoarse voice. I'll see how it goes and try to use my voice as little as possible!

Good vibes to all those feeling down or poorly (Helen, I hope your chest infection is clearing now)and I hope you are having a fun time with the doggie, Lamewolf).

    Bye for now, R.
  • Hi again!

Just read back and hi to Mumto5, I hope your last two days at work goes well (and goes quickly) and hope you have a great holiday. I bet it will take a few days to wind down and relax. I'll wave at you over the border - we go to Spain on Saturday!

And 'hi' to Soappie - a new recruit waving to you here, too! It's been awful, being on here, we new ones have had to wear special shiny suits and do h o u s e w o r k!!!!!

Well, better get ready for work, and I don't want to go ......
  • grr having to do the whole downstairs today as OH's Mother phoned at 11pm last night saying his sister has to work near by for a couple of days and could she stay over from today. She's only 17 so we had to say yes. Don't mind having her round but it is more tidying today than I had anticipated.

Decluttering and flinging in the dining room of doom is going well, but there's soooo much to do. However, I'm determined to get most of it done today because it would be great to start using the room again. Will carry on until DH is home for lunch and then have a break.

Washing is back in the house after some showers, although it's brightened up again. I'll wait until the next load is done and see whether it's worth pegging it out.

Happy holidays to everyone getting ready to get away this week. :D

Going to phone cash4clothes now to arrange a collection. I normally just take things to the CS, but there are a few quite heavy coats, so it should be worth it. I'm hoping to do as little cooking as possible next week, so more funds are needed.

ETA collection arranged for Friday afternoon. Plenty of time to have a rummage in wardrobes.

  • Good morning :D

DW on, LR littered with toys (will clear up at 5.30). Lady coming to give the dog a trial walk at 5pm (just to make sure he comes back to her!).

Currency ordered :j We are picking it up from the local airport on Wednesday. Only 4 more sleeps!!

MIL coming over later with my niece & nephew, so there is no point tidying up yet!

Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them, and bon voyage to those heading off on holibobs :D
