hand luggage proberly not covered by insurance if in hold0

Handluggage. If it gets lost or stolen in your hold luggage you've very little chance of getting your insurance to cover it.0
-
Without doubt - hand luggage.0

Safer there too. Hold luggage gets bashed around.0

Thanks for your help,it will be going as hand luggage:D0

hand luggage - and you can put some movies on it to watch during the 4/ 4.5 hr flight0

Unless things have changed you will have to take the laptop out of your hand luggage to pass it through the airport scanners. At least we always have had to do at Humberside and Manchester.
Make sure the battery is charged as I think they can ask you to turn it on, proving it is a laptop and not something else0 -
Might be a stupid question, but why do you want to take it ?0

Definitely carry-on. My Dad did a short time as a baggage handler, apparently it was a kudos thing to break bags? I'm now very careful with my packing!!!0

Definitely hand luggage. Yes they do ask you to put it through separately, I've never been asked to turn it on.
Why take it? Why not? It's handy for watching movies on when the kids are sleeping
4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
