Epson SX425W won't print barcodes?

Ok I've got an Epson SX425W which I've been very :j happy with up until yesterday

I print off quite alot of coupons and vouchers but for some strange reason yesterday I tried to print a Tesco price promise voucher, text and Tesco logo all ok but the barcode hadn't printed very well at all :eek:

Changed cartridge and tried again today but same result :eek:
Can some kind :A and helpfull person tell me what I've done wrong please ?

I'm using compatible cartridges and have been for a while without problems

Does it usually print barcodes?

Have you got a coupon with barcode from another company you can try?

If it usually prints barcodes, you can use their live chat to ask about it but don't mention compatibles

Not a lot to go on from the OP - can you take a photo of a misprinted one and post it here?

Tesco logo I imagine will be in blue, text could be anything, barcode likely black - maybe a problem in black nozzle/head? A photo will give a million clues!

Try changing the print quality to "Fine" or "Quality".

yeah either that or get a better grade of paper We have the same printer and using budget paper doesn't make for the best prints

Paper quality has no bearing as have been using same paper for years :cool:

Before binning a printer, how about uploading a pic so we can see it, and also a link to the file you're trying to print would be helpful :-)

Epson SX425W is an all-in-one.

Please print an example, scan it and load it here.

Also load or link to the original file.

Problem solved guys :beer: I ended up un-installing coupon printer and re-installing and all is a ok now :j
