Another mystery plant

In my first garden this was a gift from an experienced gardener, my garden was 120ft & it ended up covered in Evening primrose.
After a year or so I was feed up with them I dug the lot up, just got one or two come up again.
My neighbours? they had this mysterious plant in their gardens, 2 years later they were all digging them up.:rotfl:0
