    This intended to help. When a strength like confidence is overplayed it tips into becoming a weakness, such as arrogance. Behaviour becomes overbearing and belligerant.

    Your post reads as if you are becoming a "legend in your own mind". Step back, reflect on what part you had to play in it and learn the lessons needed for keeping your next job.

    Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
    If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
    If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
    If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
