The other day I received a parcel from Givaudan containing a perfume in a blank bottle and a questionnaire to fill in. The questionnaire is, I think, a re-registration form, so i guess it must have been 2 years ago that I first joined them.

I now have 2 perfume bottles from them, as they sent me one last year, too. Did I read correctly on the previous page that although they are blank bottles they are actually a branded perfume?

Yes there is a code on the back of the bottle. There is a list of corresponding codes on the first page. They will be sent every 2 years from now on though.

Yes they perfumes are branded and high end products. If you look at the very first post of this thread there is a list of codes, your botlle should have a code neer the ingredients list.
  • Thankyou :)

I prefer the FSA to the Dior one, strangely perhaps.

are you getting the large questionaire booklet to complete and send back....

If you are getting that, completing it within the time and sendinding it back then you should be getting the perfume....I know that if they dont get the survey back quickly one year it does impact on you getting the perfume the following year as this has happened to me once in the past.

It might be worthwhile contacting them by email to confirm what address they hold for you too as if you have moved since you first registered with them they dont pick your address details for the perfume from the address details you might supply them with following a online survey etc.

other than that you seem very unlucky if youve never received the perfume

I haven't moved house and they definitely know about me because I'm participating in trials for them - I had the eye cream arrive this week for example. I'm going to contact them about it and have a moan because I'm unspeakably jealous of everyone's goodies!

Is anyone doing the shampoo/conditioner trial? I was told I would receive a bottle of each, but when they arrived yesterday the instructions said that after shampooing put contents of bottle A on one side of my head and bottle B on the other, and then rinse.
Today I had an email to say my shampoo and conditioner was on its way to me. Does anyone know if I have shampoo and conditioner or two conditioners please?

i wonder if you have 2 seperate trials for 2 companies...one for a treatment conditioner and one from givaudan that is usually 2 bootles..1 of shampoo and 1 of conditioner.

The other day I received a trial from alba science which sounds similar to the one you describe about one on each half of your hair etc

I also received an email yesterday to say my shampoo/conditioner from givaudan has been dispatched so should be received today.

Check your paperwork that comes with each trial and you will probably find they are different companies

the perfume gift is linked directly to the completion and return of the questionaire within the allowed time frame.

Even if you are completing surveys and product trials on a regular basis if they dont have the booklet questionaire returned to them prompty you dont qualify for the perfume.
This happened to me one year that they forgot to include a questionaire so by the time they resent it and I filled it in it was received back too late to qualify for the following years perfume gift.....I was still regularly able to take part in product tests and all other aspects of the panel.

I KNOW! I'm going to have to stop tormenting myself looking at this thread because it seems like I'm the only one who hasn't had any perfume and it's so galling when I know that I'm doing everything properly.

Yes, you're right, it was the Clinique one from Alba. Clearly I'm too cross to think straight! I've had that and the Bzz deodorants this week but no wretched perfume! Maybe my DHL guy has sticky fingers!
