Shiny New Givaudan Survey Thread (NO REFERRALS PLEASE)

I hate to carp, and it is me being real meanie.
But I don't wear perfume I don't like, regardless of how much it costs.

So I'm here on gift three and I'll try and find someone who likes it because I definitely don't. Same as the last two.

What a crying shame that these generous gifts are sent out and they sometimes are unwanted.

Thanks Givaudan but not my cup of tea ...

ANG for me too. Can onlt find the perfume in US on internet. Blumin heck its pricey!!

Discovered this morning that it was not being delivered by Royal Mail. Had no reply from Givaudin re: change of address and got an email from DPD overnight, saying they were delivering it to my old address. Thankfully I managed to intercept it, as it wasn't going to be delivered until lunch time and fortunately they allowed me to change the address on 'my account'. It should now be coming to the correct address on Monday! fingers crossed

Now if I was sent a giant bottle of Davidoff Cool Water, I'd be well happy! It's the only scent I wear. But I don't believe that Givaudin make it

Last year I got Gucci Guilty Black, the whacking great bottle was worth an absolute fortune but I didn't like it. I ended up giving it to my mum who loved it, so it was still OK. But after all the work you put into these panels, it would be nice to get a reward for yourself. I agree with other posters, it would be nice if they could take into account your scent preferences, rather than sending out an unwanted gift which much be a very expensive operation for them.

I've only just got shot of last years Gucci Guilty Black.
Basically had to stand it on a shelf at work with a post it note that said 'help yourself'.

I'm a complete pain in the proverbial I absolutely LOVE perfume but I'm really fussy and only use stuff I really like. I know, how spoilt is that. But I just don't spray stuff I don't like about my person !

In essence I agree with your post however its worth mentioning that Givaudan are the only survey and test company to actually send annual gifts...I am not aware of any other survey site that actully reward you with anything other than a product to test,maybe a voucher for completion of...or a few points that can be exchanged for......


Givaudan need not give this gift...so if its not for you dont look on it as something you missed out on rather as something you have chosen not to use...
Its a very welcome addition for a lot of panelists and would be missed more I believe if they decided not to send it. Maybe some of the fragrances are not to everyones liking but surely we all know someone who might welcome it in place of you....perhaps you could even pop it in a foodbank with a note next time you are passing the supermarket trolley or collection bin at the front of your supermarket....toiletries are just as welcome as food in many of them.




Wizzbang...I havent singled you or your post out specifically to quote as I know there are others on the thread who have perhaps been sent something that wouldnt be of their choosing. I really wanted to address the issue of the annual gift being something that was unique to Givaudan which you did touch upon.

I had numerous emails from Chronoplast saying my item was on it's way. I had no idea what it was to be honest as I have stopped doing Givaudan surveys. I did about 8 towards the end of last year and didn't get a single voucher so I thought scratch that.


Anyway, mine was an LOC and it makes for a perfect air freshener. Bright and summery. Only recently finished last year's and needed a strong air freshener. Happy days. Woohoo.

No e mail or perfume for me yet. All i got was a voucher for doing online surveys. Hope they send out some more. Anyone have their e mail address please.
