    SCART doesn't carry HD.
    You can get converter boxes (aka. upscalers), but they won't make the content be HD.

    Well, you can send the signal over SCART, but it'll drop to SD quality. No problem there really as long as you don't kid yourself into thinking it's HD. In this case, I'll happily believe that an HD channel still looks better than the SD channel, if the SD channel is being broadcast in poor enough quality.
    Why does it look better on the '2nd' TV than on the '1st' - maybe you should check the settings on both TVs and the Sky box - you'll want RGB instead of Composite (or PAL as the Sky box calls it) if your equipment supports it.
