Whats really funny is that most of the items in this thread *HAVE* been offered on my local freecycle site.. and that includes microwaves, beds, laptops, dvd drives etc.

Which sort of makes all the jokes and sarcasm... pretty pointless.

Just like to say Ive picked up some chicken feeders off my local freecycle today. DS & DD are really grateful to the man who donated them.

I felt guilty asking if anyone had any spare but I suppose thats what its for.

Man was great who gave them to us , he also gave us some chicken wire.

I hope you gave him an oven ready chickrn in return

    Hi everyone,

This was the best washing machine I ever had, but
unfortunately it has started to over-fill and now has
to be watched, which I haven't the time for.
The timer on the Dryer sometimes plays up as well.

I am sure someone in the know could fix it, or just
use it as a Tumble Dryer.

It is a 'Hoover saver', has a 1600 spin and is 'A'
classed, so an excellent machine (more than £400 4yrs
    ago)

This is now in my garden, covered, and really must go
    this
weekend, or it's off to the tip.

I have tried locally, but this really is urgent!

So it would cost more to get it fixed than it is worth?

    Hi,
I am looking for old computers or old computer parts for a personal
project. All my other sources of parts have now dried up so if anyone
has an old outdated computer sitting in the corner, in a shed or in a
    garage.

I'm also looking for an old PS2 or PS2 games, so I can repair my PS2.

Doesn't matter if old looking I can cover it, many thanks.

I might take mine out some night for a drink

OFFER printer...5 years old, used once back then, should still work. Has plug, manual,
installation cd. Has got an ink cartridge in it but it may have dried
up. Worth giving it a go.
    So why haven't you tried?

Hi I know this is a strange request but I am looking for a display rack
similar to those you find displaying chocolate bars etc beside tills in
shops. If anyone has one they no longer need or could tell me where I
might be able to get hold of one I would be very grateful. Thanks

    Have you tried Asda?

It is not what has been offered that is funny, but the cheek of the people that is asking for them.
I have had lots of stuff off freecycle but I don't have the cheek to ask for luxury items
