have fun getting your goody, hope all goes well, see you later.
    xxx
Had a lovely ride out into the country to pick up the goody - was thrilled to bits with it. Nothing fancy or expensive, just a small coffee table that'll fit nicely into the corner to put the lamp on, and just what I wanted. We ended up having a good laugh about some of the cheeky 'wanted' ads and the even cheekier emails in reply. It really put my faith back in the whole freecyle idea - there's some really nice freecyclers around :T
PS Still tittering here about sausages :D

    Wanted - cream leather sofas
Hi, just wondering if anybody might be getting rid of such a thing as a
cream leather sofa? I am enquiring on behalf of my cousin who is due to
move into her 1st flat soon. Can collect no problem. Many Thanks.

Yeah, I'd quite like some cream leather sofas as well !! Try DFS
Re: offered - rats for re-homing
does nobody on the freecycle want them!!

 No thanks. I re-homed a certain rat some years ago, and am quite happy with his replacement :D (Apologies to the chaps on here :o )
    Offered - old records
these records are for one of those old fashion wind up record
players...they are really old...i think they call them 75's or 45's not
sure, there are a box full..
_pale_ I remember playing those - but at least it was on a stereo with a turntable, don't quite remember the wind up record players :o

Hiya 160 - was just wondering if you ever heard back from the Mods about that rude response you got to your wanted ad for the ground sheet/mattress thingy? Sorry if you posted about it and I missed it - this thread takes a lot of reading through! (I'm sure it must be in the top 100 threads by now!)
Anyway, hope that person got a flea in their ear :D

Why has it taken me so long to find this thread? I joined Freecycle in January and I've not dared to laugh out loud at some of the things I've seen because I thought it was all very worthy and taken dead seriously.

That's it, you've had it now. A post with more than 40 words and you HAVE to come back.
Welcome, glad you've joined us as well.
Part of the fun (or shock factor) of giving is reading some of the emails.

By the end of this month I should be debt free :j
very nice cheque paid into bank this afternoon, bottle of bubbly Wednesday when it clears :D
