I saw a story in the paper today about a pub/b&b and the owners totally refurbished the place with buys from ebay, at a cost of £6,000. Just think, they could have done it all for free from freecycle lol0

Wonder are they the ones now looking for a jukebox![STRIKE]30:22[/STRIKE]

we have just been offered our first house, and we have recieved a few
things from you good freecycles but we still need, a sofa, washer,
dryer, microwave... n house stuff in general...we have already knives
and forks, dishes, glasses and a fridge freezer and bed. so anything
else would be brillaint. I know im being a little cheeky, but anything
we cannot use will be freecycled bak.... one of our
essentials is baby gates....he gets everywhere now he's found his
feet. We can pick up small items, but no longer have the van for the
bigger things. if you wish to deliver we are currently at ******
I guess They posted on vairous freecycles as I have just seen Judderman posted one very similar.

Gotta be the best one on ours for a long time - so much so I emailled the guy saying I don't want anything, but thank you for making my night!
If only all posters had this sense of humour, then again could you imagine this thread ??????Hi all,
Got some items looking for a home.
1) Black ash bookcase. Comes flat pack with no instructions for some added
excitement! Free small hole in one of the back panels where I previously
routed some cables. Dust is optional.

2) Morphy Richards 3KW cordless kettle. Makes a great cuppa, but has a
slight leak at the base of the spout. No water or teabags included.

3) Carrier Bag of door-handles. Some silver, some gold. Some of them even
match ;-) Approx 12 pairs in total - might be more, might be less. Think of
it as a jigsaw. The carrier bag will either be Tesco or Asda.

4) 3 hard back craft books:
a) Stencilling Made Easy - A Complete Beginners Guide
b) Victorian Memories in Cross Stitch & Needlepoint
c) Carousel Horses in Cross Stitch.
Pic - none. The books are too shy to have photographs taken.
All items available for collection in *****.
