    hi all

i was wondering if anyone has a psp gathering dust or somthing i would love to take it off your hands

    thanks in advance

    p.s

    can collect anywhere near xxxxxxx

Does anyone have a psp 'gathering dust' ????? I do have the 'or somthing' - they're all gathering dust in the shed waiting for me to freecyle them. Wonder if I should offer him my old ironing board that's 'gathering dust' - and looks like it's been involved in 'extreme ironing' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What a plonker, I bet she is charging you rent for a furnished property.

I wonder how difficult it would be to furnish an entire house using nothing but Freecycle. I imagine sofas/dining tables/beds wouldn't be too hard to come by, as they're the ideal candidates for freecycling/reducing landfill. Stuff like PC's and TV's might also be fairly easy, especially if they are old.

I reckon it would be quite easy if you were signed up to a few groups, prepared to travel a lot, and used your manners when online.

Yep, i'll spend my weekend loading up my car and then fill my petrol tank up to bring it round to you, whilst there I will even sweep your yard.
they will need your broom as well, dont forget the dustpan and brush.
oh and make sure they are matching colours.

i decided to give my item to the poster as i said, and even delivered it last night. they were a young couple, who had had problems, and had found themselves thrown out at a weeks notice from there furnished place and had only managed to find somewhere unfurnished.
they were very grateful, even offered me a brew, and i know that my item will be much appreciated. (as an aside, i've offered them another couple of items i was going to list, but i know these people are really in need).
thanks for the advice, i'm glad i didn't pre judge them (too much,)

    Finally, a heartwarming post!!
    Hi there
A big thanks to Michael for the gift of a lightweight cylinder
    hoover.

But I thought I would let you all know what this freecycler has done.

He has given a 91 year old his independance (he can't do much but tries
to hoover once a week and his old one was hard work for him) .
He was over the moon and quite shocked when I gave this to him
yesterday and then told him it was free, he couldn't believe that in
this day and age, people would just give something away and said that
when he was younger people always helped each other out and that people
nowadays seemed selfish and in too much of a hurry to even think or
care. He also said that he now had proof that not all pepole are like
    that.

So when you are throwing out your unwanting items think that you may be
making someone very happy and changing someones views on life and people

    SO KEEP ON FREECYCLING

I`ve just joined freecycle - its amazing what is out there isnt it - I thought being addicted to this site was enough but now I have two addictions lol?

Food for thought - I saw a baby travel cot and thought of getting it, however im not even pregnant and hopefully if I do get pregnant isnt best to go to someone who needs it now, felt guilty about wanting it though however bet lots of people are not as scrupulous can see that loads of stuff could materialise by others on auction sites!

    Hi

Im looking for any Ikea furniture sofa, tub chairs, wicker that would
suit a conservatory. White or cream would be ideal.

I would to update the bathroom so a vanity unit , mirror , toliet seat
would all make the difference. I just want to make it more modern.

I am looking for a metal curtain pole quite a robust one , to suit a
bedroom that has an antique metal style bed.

    Thanks
