Write a letter to head office. I doubt the store will be able to offer anything in this instance tbh, as their legal department would need to find a way of getting an estoppel in place to stop it coming back and biting them on the !!!!.

Although i'm not really sure how you can quantify a bruised foot........

    Why should i suffer?

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.

    This child is suffering:-

Only a small shop and it had CCTV everywhere...

I just wanted to know if legally I had any grounds to stand on, the display partly collapsed on my foot, it hurts.... I just wanted a sorry here is 1 month knocked of your bill soothing like that.

I imagine I could really cause upset if I wanted, which is not what I want.

But the matter stands, my foot does hurt and its no broken, just bruised, that is 3's fault not mine. Why should i suffer?

It was part of a desk that fell off earlier, now its a display. You haven't got any medical evidence and didn't raise a complaint at the time. I'd say you've got no chance of any compo .

I have to say that I find your posts to be money grabbing not money saving. Perhaps it's the way you write.
  • Compensation is supposed to compensate people for loss when another is at fault...what exactly are your losses here? and can you prove that they were somehow negligent or at fault for the accident?

If you can't show that you have losses then there is no reason why the shop would need to give you anything.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Then go for it - issue a personal injury claim and see how far you get. Of course, you'll have all the medical reports documenting your "suffering" and injury to do this, won't you?

Not my foot but the result is similar

This seems close, so yes I think I am going to peruse this, I am going to seek medical clarification and write to the customer service team.

I'd wear some flipflops that beautifully display the bruise, then go back to the store hobbling lots, and show them the bruise, and make sure it's entered into the accident book.

In the mean time, I'd pick up a nice expensive pair of headphones, and just be cheeky and ask for them free or half price, given their store injured you, and see what they say!

    No ask, no get!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • I can't see the photo but come on......really?
