I'm not getting a very good deal from Orange- 100 mins, unlt texts and 500mb data for £21.50p/m

I want to haggle and ring up to quote soime deals but I was wondering when best to do this.
I am due an upgrade on 25th Aug, but my contract doesn't actually run out until October.
Do I have the power to haggle and get a better deal now? Or do I need to wait until October?

    No you don't. Wait until 30 days before the end of your minimum term, you will have more power to negotiate then.

    Also consider leaving and going PAYG as a safety net from circumstances changing and you credit file being trashed by unforeseen events.
