    I've had both but I couldn't tell the difference between them so it wouldn't bother me if given the choice.

    At the present moment I only have VISA cards.

    It isn't by choice merely happenchance. I am indifferent between Visa and Mastercard credit but prever VISA debit over the rarely seen Mastercard debit used by some banks like Metro Bank simply because there have been so many reported issues having them recognised by retailers in land both online and in the high street

    If we have these issues with Mastercard debit in the country they're issued in I dread to think what they're like to use abroad.

    I think the Olympic choise to only allow ticket purchases via VISA is a dreadful one and am truly surprised it was allowed by the regulator.
