Legal to drive with a broken ankle?

Its interesting to speculate about automatics and left feet as an academic exercise, but in ther real world what matters is weather your doctor thinks you are fit to drive. If you are advised not to drive, or you neglect to ask, you are placing yourself in a very invidious position if involved in an accident.
Who amongst us, if we were involved in an accident and found the other driver stepped out of the car in an ankle cast would not seek to convince our insurers that the fault was related to the other driver's evident incapacity. Would a police officer called to the scene not suspect the ankle cast was a factor?
That said perhaps the question to be asked is whether it would be legal for a man with an artificial lower leg to drive an unadapted vehicle?Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

I have tried it and its not a simple as you may think not least because of the position of the pedals. You also tend to be heavier footed using the wrong foot.
Yes you're correct, but the heavy footedness you learn get over, the pedal position is the real issue;)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
