    Morning all.

I was looking on the 1911 census last night, and I have already found relatives I didn't know I had. Is there a site you can access birth cert and marriage cert free? I will pay if I have to. This is getting intriguing already.:j

I had the misfortune of temping at a BT call centre..:o It was gold support, ie if you rang and ended up speaking to someone in Bangalore and couldn't understand them, you got but through to us.. 2 Weeks training :rotfl: there was 12 of us, not being racist or anything here but note the fact that it was gold support.. There was 1 English chap (me) 1 Australian, 4 Chinese people and 6 people that had come over from.....Bangalore :rotfl:They were great people but I was sat next to them and struggled to understand them..

Anyway, after the so called training we went live on the job.. first day, a supervisor told me that if I didn't know how to answer a customers question, to hang up... !! The same went if the call lasted longer than 10 minutes.. The next day I took a call from a elderly chap that had been waiting 4 months to get a connection, his fault had been past from pillar to post and nothing had been done. I spent about 30 mins talking to him and it turned out he'd not plugged everything in correctly his end. After that i walked out, i was only planning on being there a couple of months but never ever again.. After seeing how they operate I would never suggest going with BT..

I had a similar experience when my children were younger I temped very briefly for a BT call centre - directory enquiries. Your average call time had to consistantly be 30 seconds I think it was , or thereabouts . If it was over you were out. They had what they called "First Requirments". which meant if someone called you asked the name and say they said "Mr Reed " you then had to ask them how they were spelling the name if you couldnt find them at the address given you could do another search with a different spelling if they suggested it but you were not allowed to suggest "maybe its spelt Reid I'll check for you". Calls were listened to every day and if you were caught helping people by suggesting or looking at alternative spellings you were given a warning the first time and second time you were out the door. I left I couldnt cope with not being allowed to help people.

Whooo hooo, i finally got me some body shop stuff!!
I forgot to set my alarm but lucky for me my little boy woke having a screaming fit at 5.25. I legged it downstairs after sorting him out and managed to get 3 orders done. Whoop whoop!!!

I was only around at that time because I'd woken up a couple of hours earlier having swallowed a fly ( :o) and couldn't get back to sleep. Every cloud has a silver lining ! :rotfl: Still have a very sore throat, though :(
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Good morning everyone.

New fridge arrived at 07:30 - had to run my old cheese stockpile down as fridge could not keep up with summer temperatures. Could do with a cheese glitch now please :)

izzeyb has posted an excellent one but I think it may have got lost in the bs flurry.

Eg 2 of these and two mocs makes a kilo of cheese for £3.50

And rumour has it that more than 2 mocs may scan .....

Considering taking a gift set into shop to see if I can exchange my 'unwanted gift' for a couple of smaller items to share the love

Do you think it will be a problem? Will report back if works

Hiya choirchick, nice to "see" you around! Yes, I'm glad we caught this one, let's hope they honour it and it runs a bit longer. xx

Worked for me last year during another glitch, and I had planned on trying the same tomorrow after my first box arrives later today.

I went instore yesterday for a sniff of a couple of the scents I'd ordered and I'm not sure about the Moringa one. Would have prefered the rose but that was OOS when I ordered. They have a rose gift set instore.:D

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly.......

Then she swallowed a spider to catch it :rotfl:

Then it just escalated from there...!!!
