I just looked up the link that someone posted last night, it's showing as 23.07pm for me, does that sound about right? Or will I be staring into the sky looking for something that isn't there?! :rotfl:
    Thanks :)

    HI Happy
don't know if this helps but RBS dropped visa two years ago when they started their visa debit cards.
You can only have a visa credit card if you have private banking already or already have one.
Every time you apply for a credit card it adds a marker to your credit file that will drop away in a couple of months but other lenders can see you have applied so don't do too many at once.
Barclaycard is quite good at the mo, seems easy to get (well I got two this week)and Sainsburys as well.

Strange what they told me then. Overpaid muppets, the lot of them.:rotfl:

I'm not going to apply for any more, I don't want the two I have doing random checks and seeing I have another card and then reduce my limits because they think I've got access to too much credit.

My secondary card is an Opus credit card but before that it was a Citi card through Shell where I got cash back on all purchases. Citi then announced the end of the cash back and certain card holders were getting ditched and others were getting transferred to a Citi Platinum card and I was one of them. However that didn't last long and they sold out to Opus (one of those companies that specialise in giving credit to people who can't get credit so I was fuming to say the least) I was all for ditching the card when I got a letter saying they were tripling my credit limit which comes in far handier when travelling. I had to fight RBS tooth and nail for 2 years to get them to give me a few hundred increase which is currently 2 thirds of the Opus card. When you're travelling as much as we are you need a hefty credit limit because when things go wrong that's when money disappears down black holes.:eek: Not all hospitals bill insurance companies direct and you have to cough up first so it does help to have the credit card to fall back on.
  • Havn't had a chance to catch up yet, but incase it hasn't been mentioned..

Cushelle 4 roll - £2.18 in Toscos and £1.80 in Asda. Used with 40p off MOCS in Tosco magazine, a really good deal I thought :)

    Off to catch up now...

I must admit I'm a little bit intrigued by CBB after the chat about it, but I think if I tried to put it on OH might try and murder me! :rotfl:

That would tie in with what I read as well, think I'll take a wander outside then and see what I can see :)
