I know I only quoted these two great results but would like to congratulate all those who got the results they wanted today and hope that those who don't, manage to go on and get a course place suitable. But as one poster said, as long as they have wwworked hard and did the best they could, they should be proud of themselves and their parents proud of them too. Not everyone gets to go to Oxford/Cambridge, or any university but as long as whatever they do after leaving 'school' is what they want to do and they will be happy doing it, will work hard and be rewarded for that, then that is success in my eyes and for that, I applaud you all

A junior doctor came to see OH this morning and sent him for an ultrasound on his leg, the lady who did the ultrasound is someone whose treated him before and went and got the "Top Dog" consultant out of clinic to see him. Outcome is she's cancelled all clinic tomorrow morning and taking OH to theatre to amputate, don't know how far up they're going yet.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.

They must think that there is good reason to do it if they have cancelled all other commitments. Surgery is always the last option

Am thinking of you all xx
