i just went through a long time of hitting too early and getting 0 everytime lol
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!

    Seconded:T:T:T:T

OMG I can't cope with all this emotion today, going to have a bath and get all this water out of my eyes;););)MrLala just opened the door to DS's best friend and she was just standing there crying so he called DS and Mrlala walked away very wet eyed as we've known her forever and shes like a daughter to us.(I disappeared into the loo) She hadnt made her first or second offer and she was in bits. This was half hour ago and she has just phoned to say that Warwick her first choice have decided to take her, to say she is ecstatic is an understatement :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

I was welling up too, what a happy result for her, hope your ds is lucky too!
I am on my last child (thank god my heart can't stand it).
She has gone to collect as results but not too hopeful as she has already had to resit......what happens between school and college is a mystery as she was a grade 'a' student a year ago.

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is well today.

I took the OH out last night to The Design house, a fancy place near us that heats rocks up to 400 celcius and then you cook your own food in front of you. It was yummy. And all for £14 with wine too. Whilst there we were offered another voucher for £20 inlcuding bread and more wine at another of their places so took that offer too :T:T:T Right, catch up time...
i got home minus another toe :( at lunchtime.all went well.[...] So glad to hear it all went well! :D
p.s celebrity big brother kicks off tonight
Arghh - Bloody Big brother, no wonder I have so much to catch up on!
With regards to the cinema ticket chocolate packs I have buying mine in T's which helps with 8 different items they are 2 for £3 in T's and compare to £1 each in A's xxx
Thanks for this. This is probably what I'll be doing. :T
Toss a bit over here :)
I normally find out when my daughter can't eat dinner and complains she only had a McD at 3 o/c!! Or I then go up and find a couple of big empty choc packs
Mine knows better than this. If she doesn't eat the meals we cook, even after eating all sorts of Chite, then she'll be cooking her own from now on. It normally works. :D

Evening all [...] Which reminds me, I got a letter from the charity last week informing me that they had made £111 so far from stuff I had taken in, and this will increase with Gift Aid, so I was well pleased with that :j :j
I really enjoy your little catch ups, 3Dogs. I hope all is still well. It's great you do somuch in your community. I aspire to that each day and hope my work with the dads' group will put me in a similar position. :)

Thanks for the above :) More confused then ever now :(:D
My simple answer to this would be to do like I do. I now make sure I have like 14 items. These still cost less than a couple of quid. No point in wasting your own time.

    Great customer service.

Am so surprised as the warranty had expired so to have it replaced free is fantastic. :):):)

Really pleased you got this, well done. This is good customer service. But to be fair, you are more than entitled to it under the SOGA - just happy you didn't have to fight.

As someone else said earlier, sometimes, these things happen for a reason.
Never a truer word spoken. When I said not to worry that GCSE's are wiped off when you do A-Levels, the same applies for A-Levels when you do a degree. I missed my predicted grades by a long way (I got DD,EE - after getting straight A's at GCSE) because I found women and beer :o. I didn't get 1st second or 3rd choice. The result? I now have a PhD and great job/wife/family. :)

[...] Grrr so why we're they still marked as bogof?? As far as I'm concerned they are a 12 pack the extra free are from the manufacturer not t's!!!
I had a similar trouting once with Breakaways that were BOGOF but they had some 100% free ones. I argued the point until a manager was called and simply told them I'd be taking photos, contacting Tesco HO, the paper, and Trading standards to show Tesco were not honouring manufacturer discounts. Got about 50 packs in the end! If only she'd've pulled the bulk buy policy she'd've won TIT. :rotfl:

AngelsMadV you are an absolute star I cannot wait to sit down and go through them properly and upload some to my kindle, have a feeling your right about how long it will take to make my way through them all.
    Aww shucks! You're welcome. :o
Great day here. Exam results in and got one boy going to Oxford and the other Imperial College . So proud. Hope everyone else gets the results they want x
Fabulous! Leaders of the future then. Well done to you and them. :T

Well done, her. Such a shame that life puts this kind of pressure on us when in most cases it is completely unnecessary. I remember getting mine, crying in the sandwich shop :o, then getting blathered in the pub. Now, I couldn't give two-hoots what I got at A-Level, and nor does my current employer, or any others for that matter! :rotfl:
nikkilalaWow! Congrats to your DS. That is very impressive for someone of his age to achieve such things. Wish him all the luck for the future. You must be so proud. :D
Laura Cello / MKS Happy 15th anniversary! :T
chandlerscroft Hope your arm is better. We too use the trip switch to educate the kids sometimes!
Lutzi1Thanks for the yummy pork recipes. I got 6 lots last night so will be looking to make something with them. Have tried all sorts so far myself like curries, stir fries, roasts, slow coked pulled pork etc.

With regards to the cinema deals, did anyone hear the news today?Cineworld profits up 21%. So F*ing expensive too.

Have a great day, everyone. Make sure to look after your limbs! :rotfl::A:A
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

    Morning Elite.
Just a quick Q. I am looking at CC rewards, is £19 in CC rewards good for getting Family tree maker platinum edition?

    Morning all :D

I haven't used Family Tree Maker, but would say that the deal is good just for the Ancestry subscription (but you used to be able to get a couple of weeks free anyway so I would do this first). If you use their online tree it's really good for making connections with other trees and, providing you research them properly, you can grow your tree really quickly

    Not good news here:

BBB and he needed ABB. One A was missed by 1 point (319 instead of 320 out of 400) and another by 2 points (318 out of 400).

Could get other universities for his course with those grades, but doesn't want them. Gone for remarks in some papers. Phoned the uni but they said unlikely to be offered a place. :(

Stupid system - if he accepted a course elsewhere today and the remarks came back with the higher grade he couldn't then take up his original place.

Happy to see Tesco 32l folding crate black back in stock on Tesco Direct as it goes well with Keter 15 4 Tier Plastic Shelving Unit to make up £20 for buying with the Clubcard Voucher Exchange tokens.
