It's taken me 4/5 attempts (I only started playing last week). It was the timings that were the issue but I raced through the last one with the support of the Elite

For all those anxious parents awaiting tomorrows A level results, just wanted to share my experiences from last year.

My DD was waiting for Birmingham Uni for Dentistry and her insurance was Pharmacy at Liverpool. She was on line at 7.00am and I heard her running downstairs soon after absolutely distraught. UCAS was showing that she had been accepted for Liverpool and she was heartbroken - hysterical to be honest. I felt sick to the core. To cut a long story short, she had logged on too soon before all the results had been posted and she had in fact been accepted at both - and of course chose Birmingham.

Why hysterical??

If she didn't want to go to Liverpool, why choose it as the insurance option !!

Surely, if you have a 1st choice and an insurance choice you should pick 2 courses/places that you actually want to go to !!!

Glad all turned out as she wanted, but can't get my head around choosing an insurance course/location she didn't want to go to in the first place.

DS has got 2 A*'s and 2 A's so made his Durham offer :TAnd hes made the A'level offer for Cambridge but had to take 2 Steps exams for Cambridge and passed one but not the other so has been pooled by Cambridge and we'll know hopefully tomorrow if hes in:)Been the most emotional night ever and can't stop my eyes from watering;)Fingers crossed for tomorrow:)

Also see if there are any charity furniture exchanges or warehouses nearby. Everything they sell is very good quality and not over priced.

You then have more money to spend on esential things that you cant scrimp on like a good bed and mattress.

i agree, but the only things ive bought with my own money in my flat is my tv when i won some money at bingo, everything else is from other people. Plus with the 0% payments it works out really cheap as long as we pay it back within 9 months

The phone/internet fiasco is getting worse, next door neighbour knocked his phone isnt working, he rang our remaining working landline from his mobile it rang once & then stopped it has a dialling tone with a buzz AGAIN ! so just about hanging on to my connection at present
