Evening all, hope you're all well!

Thanks Neosi, but I don't have a compass and no idea what direction west is from my house........is there a simple way to tell other than the sun thing?
if you look at tv sat dishes, if they are getting sky or freeview they are pointing very slightly east from south. ( most are unless they are getting freebees from abroad)
so 90 degrees from the way they are pointing.
i take it you know what way west is from south:rotfl:
  • That's me all caught up again :D it's so hot but going to try get sum sleep as only managed 3 hours last night.

    Good luck MMW for tomorrow.
    Night night everyone.

Hi, all, seen the iss I think moving fast so presume it was it, ds1 was well impressed and asked if we can do it again tomorrow. Why not so thanks for the heads up bout it.
Any1 have any idea how I can get some till spits for money off dh wants an iMac have resisted so far, but have £100 in cc vouchers, but never n I mean Neva gt till spits for £ off must spend way too much time in there have got. A temp club card had it a while and still no extras, and my local T is ultra clean no spits to b found when cleaning up.
Really don't want to spend my vouchers unless I can stack some coupons and dh is getting impatient now.

How many coupons are you expecting to stack ? iMacs start at £1000 :D

As long as you know where North is, its easy...just remember

Never Eat Shredded Wheat (North, East, South, West)

Face North, and clockwise at 90 degrees is East, a further 90 degrees South and so on..;)

Morning everyone. Been a bit AWOL lately.

i have been having some mental health issues recently and finally plucked up the courage to go docs yesterday. I am so glad i did, i had the most helpful doctor i have seen in years and has referred me to therapy and not just some tablets. I just don't feel i can talk to anyone at the minute.

I have a few week off work now to try and make myself feel better.

Feel a bit stupid really as lots of you are going through far worse at the moment.

3dogs its lovely to see you posting again.

I popped on the love brands FB page this morning and they have a new coupoon- £1 off Nescafe Original, Nesquick or Nestle cereals. HTH

Thanks hun - sorry to hear of your problems but I am so glad you have faced it and got help :T :T

My best tip would be to google map your house. Maps are shown on a North/South basis, with North at top of page ;);)

Hope you're feeling a little bit better today sweetie pie :D

Night night Purdy :)Great shopping today :T and wombling too, well done you! :D

3Dogs - Sorry about the sleeping. I know the feeling! Saturday when I got back from the Balloon Fiesta I just had to watch the diving before I found out the results ;):p:rotfl: (wasn't it blinkin fantastic?!!! :D) Of course as soon as I watched that, I had to watch the 5000m and then Big Brother, I couldn't keep my eyes open walking up the stairs at 3am :o And as soon as my head hit the pillow the thunder started so I had to go back downstairs and comfort my girlies til 5am  So don't you dare feel bad for sleeping in!

Sounds like you had a great day though :APleased to hear you treated yourself to a few bits too :D and an unexpected £400 is definitely something to smile about :A xx

    andddddddddddddddddddd

:j:eek::j:eek::j 5 1/2 pounds off in your first week!!!!! :j:eek::j:eek::j:eek:

    Absolutely fantastic, WELL DONE!! :T

nahteb - Your cereal stash pyramid piccie is brilliant! Mine are predominantly in stacker boxes, thank goodness! But a few surplus boxes have been squeezed onto my garage stash sheves

kadison - Thinking of you :)

bootsalebargains - I really hope you have gone on hols with you DD and your hubby is doing better :)

DanielleNic - So sorry to hear about your health of late :( xx It's a really brave thing to do to go to the docs and I'm so pleased you have been referred for the help that you rightfully deserve. Please don't feel silly and try to put your feelings down, yes other people have problems too but that doesn't make yours less significant xx

Nine-toes, soon to be Eight-toes - Thinking of you tomorrow and wishing you all the best of luck. Sending huge hugs and hopes that once you're all healed up nicely this will be the start to a nice pain free chapter :)

  • sorry to quote myself

just looked at the price return, i also bought a tin of sweetcorn for 0.33p, "asda smart price sweetcorn 326g"

but this is not on it anywhere, but it is on the recepit,

    can anyone explain this??

I got rakes like that. Had one the other night where not a single pice of meat appeared on the list despite 10 of the 23 items being meat on the receipt.

Also had 1kg bag of silver spoon sugar come up as N/A lol.

Looks like Mr A is learning how to shuffle the goalposts like Mr T!
  • I'm looking at this: http://www.isstracker.com/
and it looks like the ISS is on its way back round even though it isn't one of the viewing times on the chart. I'm going to nip out and see if I can see it again.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
