I thought the skipping club was meant to be all about summing up whats happened on this thread not posting exclusive finds and teasing people on here about it.

Have I missed a find or have you not posted it on here yet?

Or is it something light-hearted/not suitable for here?

no, you're getting confused with the other FB group....the skipping group does as above...the other group like to keep their 'finds' secret ;)

Evening all, had a fabulous evening - after i had managed to fight my way through the traffic, first and last time i drive into town around 6pm :eek:

First stop S'bobs 10 packs of shandy and 14 packs of beer, used bm's, coupons and a gift card 49p to pay and also have another two bm's left to use - this is the first time i have been in the store and they have actually had more than one pack on the shelf - and the SA was absolutely lovely i explained to him what i wanted to do as in splitting my shop so i could get the best bm possible and as cheap as possible - also told him that coupons wouldn't scan and he would have to over ride - as this is what the supervisor told me the other day:cool::cool: and he put them all through for me with no problems at all. I had a few vouchers left and offered them to him to use when he finished work he said he didn't think he would be allowed to - so i asked the checkout supervisor and she said that if i got an envelope from CS and put his name on it and sealed it signed that he could have them - so did all that and then told him and he seemed chuffed to bits - looks like i may have got myself a pal :T:T

next stop T's and got my shop from £31.00 down to £7 using mocs and pp's hoping for a £10 pp to come back to me - no whoopsies around apart from bread. Looking forward to tomorrow as my friend arrives and i can take her shopping with me - i have tried to explain it to her loads of times, so will hopefully show her instead. Going to shoot outside now to see if i can see ISS - will catch up with you all soon xxx

Won some petrol vouchers on ebay this evening! With a winning bid of £9 something. Well chuffed! Just hope that I actually receive the vouchers now like as I'm away on holiday in Bournemouth. Might get them sent here as could come in useful for the drive back home!

Also, anyone know of any good attractions round Bournemouth like please?

Yes we have all seen the photo's didn't know Mr T sold fruit machines :rotfl:

It is worth it my family think I'm mad but all of them partake in my hand outs and dtd wine, roast joints etc.

I couldn't do it without my wife who sits at home all night with the kids whilst I'm wombling and dtd, I save it she spends it online

I know how you feel. I felt like I was absolutely wasting my time today :mad::mad:The missus and I both promised not to use our credit cards since I started wombling/glitching/doing ALL the grocery shopping and have just been chipping away at the old balance (its on a 0% deal for another year or so) I was curious to see what the new balance was and saw she had put on £50 of new transactions in the month!! Was it shoes/boots/coat/dress/household need/utility bill/etc....? Nope! It was 50 bleedin' quid for facebook credits so that she could play the Sims!!!!

She blamed ME, saying it gave her something to do while I was out wombling. If I knew she was going to throw £50 down the pan because I was going wombling I could have just stayed at home for a whole week and paid for all our shopping with cash rather than APGs

It's so unbelievably wasteful and it undid so much hard work :(

Have they read the Grey books? Could give them something to do that would be a win win situation.:) (ie they wouldn't be spending money :rotfl:)
    Hope is not a strategy.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Weight loss 3 stone :D
  • Good luck for tomorrow MMW hope everything is ok.
