Just remembered another thing. Anyone recall me mentioning that I got trouted in Wilkinsons the other day? There was a toy down to £3 from £6.99 and had a "half marked price" sticker on it, so expected to get it for £1.50 and the SA thought otherwise. I emailed HO and today I got this back:

Thank you for your email concerning your recent visit to our Camberley store and for giving me this opportunity to investigate your concerns about the pricing of a JCB power tool.

As retailers we expend much time and effort to ensure prices displayed on our products are correct. The company also engages systems and procedures for the checking of prices and tickets to ensure that information displayed is clear for customers.

While the intention was for the product to be reduced to half price I appreciate the ‘half marked price’ sticker on the toy appears misleading when used in conjunction with a shelf edge sale reduction.

On behalf of the company I would offer my sincere apologies that on this occasion you were unhappy with the response in store. I have spoken to the store manager this morning regarding this issue and your disappointment.

As a gesture of goodwill the manager has saved the toy and has stated that he will be happy to give the item to you free of charge on your next visit to store.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us and wishing you all the very best.

Assuring you of the best attention at all times.

I shall be putting the £1.50 I expected to pay into a charity box to assuage my guilt :)

Lol, that will be awkward!! I remember when I wrote a letter of complaint about a service on a bike I bought from Halfords, the area manager was so incenced he arrange a meeting with him me and the staff member, that was the most awkward 10 mins of my life

Just popping out into the garden to see if I can see the space station flying over.
Is it still too light to see anything?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Anyone sure on the sainsburys question?

Have 2 £6 off £40 with different bar codes burning a whole and in mr s now and wondered if they will work
    Together?

I think it will depend on the SA. To spend the first one your shopping will have to be over £46 which will bring the total to £41 then you can use your second.
Someone may come long soon to confirm:)
