    Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
we're off on Monday for a self-catering break. Nearest T's looks to be Catterick? Could any locals let me know whether it has a scanner please?

Any hints on cheapish things to do in the area with 2 elderly parents (one wheelchair bound) and dog would also be appreciated :)
  • Hi
Had a quick trawl amongst the thread over the last couple of days, not done a shopping list yet but this might help as these are the posts of what people have posted on their shopping list. Many thanks to all. I plan to sit down later to do my shopping list.

    Mornin all!
    I need your help.
I have a shoulder of pork joint which needs using. I am tired of doing the same old Sunday lunch stuff, and have tried looking for ideas online and that's all that seems to be popping up. All I want is an alternative marinade or accompaniments, with a summer twist!xxxx

Slow cook with apples and cider. with pots like a hotpot on top add carrots as well and an onion if u like, all in one pot only.

I've never done a PP against Sainsbury's but Id like to stock up tomorrow on 2 lots of Curiously Cinammon ;) and I was wondering if anyone can give me ideas of things that definitely compare and also some filler products please :)

    Here's my post on my shop T v S.

Don't buy Value custard when comparing with Sains, folks.

    1 x TESCO EDAY VALUEDARK RED KIDNEY BEANS 400G 0.18 0.18
1x TESCO EDAY VALUECKN FLAVOUR INS NOODLES 65G 0.11 0.11
    1x BANANAS LOOSE(0.165 kg) 0.11 0.11
    1x LOOSE CARROTS CLASS 1(0.08 kg) 0.06 0.06
    1xTESCO EDAY VALUEINSTANT CUSTARD POWDER 70G 0.06 0.15
    1x BARRATTS FLUMPS CABLE 0.10 0.10
    3 xNESTLE CURIOUSLY CINNAMON 375G 6.00 4.50
    1xHARIBO KIDDIES SUPERMIXPM 10P 0.10
    N/A
    1xT.EDAY VALUE WHITE CHOCOLATE 100G 0.30
    0.30

Might give you an idea or two. I've also noticed that the 10p Haribo supermix come up N/A when bought in A and T so not worth using as a "filler" unless you like them. The 10p Fangtastics and Starmix do match though.

stalk them & hope they panic & give in
