Bought whoopsied fruit BUT the date was still for 2 days so thought it would be okay. Seems as if fungus is growing on it. Did they know they go off quickly? Is that why they reduced it? Called Tesco and the woman asked for the barcode as I didn't know the price. Of course it had the whoopsied sticker over it. She got really annoyed though saying I can't find out the price unless I have the barcode. I told her exactly what grapes they were so not sure why they can't see on their computer. Felt like complaining at the sound of her annoyance. Not my fault there's a sticker over it! Managed to get the whoopsie sticker off and she said she'll look at the barcode and if under a pound can only put it on a clubcard.Pink is so not my colour :undecided0

Thanks for that. Does it matter if they're not washed?
I could load the whole car with old duvets/blankets/towels, making room for the next glitch (she says in expectation....)0 -

SpiralingDown wrote: »My DH used to be a security guard on the cameras for a centre with a T's attached to the end of it. One day he was asked by T's security if they could look at the footage for outside their shop as the cops needed to get a clear photo of a thief. It turned out the guy had walked out of the shop with at least one other person, both wheeling trollies with huge TVs and a number of the lastest Dysons in them and a T's guy had helped them out to their cars with the stuff :rotfl:
The T's guy was questioned but had stated that neither trolley had alarmed going out of the store and as all their stock was tagged he assumed that they were paid for. It turned out the stuff had all been put into the trollies by the electricals guy to take to CS so that he could put tags into them but he'd reported the trollies gone a few minutes before they had left the store so security had been too busy looking on the cameras to notice them being taken out of the store :rotfl:
They never got the guys as they had no clear images of them but they did change where they put the tags into the electricals and haven't had such a huge loss since.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: that is classic.0 -
