ok many of you probably know this already but orange now have an 'alternative' to o2online's 300 free text sim.
and you dont need to buy a new sim, you can use your current one.
If you dont know what im talking about here are the 2 networks details for you to compare.
o2
good points - 300 free sms per month and (for now anyway) 1mb free GPRS
bad points - minimum topup of £10 per month required
orange
good points - 3000 free sms per month (three thousand)
bad points - minimum topup of £15 per month required and free texts can only be used at evenings and weekends.

That really is the killer, who on earth would pay £15 pm and only be able to get 3000 free texts after 7pm weekdays and all weekends when you could pay o2 £10 pm and get 300 anytime free.
If anyone finds the need to send 3000 texts a month then the surely wanna send em anytime of the day not on a restricted basis.
Once Orange text saver ended they have really lost the plot with an alternative.0
