Guinea pigs are sooooo worth it, I absolutely love mine and couldn't agree more! :D

Just out of interest, did you buy any guinea pig food or hay from Zooplus? I've bought accessories from Zooplus, in the past, (hideys, toys, bowls etc) but never tried any of their hay/food before as they don't have any brands I usually buy and I'm very fussy about their diet. This time around I ordered some natural treats though so I'll be curious to see how well they go down :)

OK, confession time...:o Yep, I have ordered from them before but only once - used my competition email addy to get the grabbit :obut I felt justified because my other order with them was an almost complete waste of money. And even tho I reviewed the products that were no good (which they promise to review themselves and get back to you about if you are not satisfied ) I never heard a dickie bird!

    This is what happened:
    1. used bacs to make the payment and save money - didn't get my parcel so after a while emailed them and they emailed back and said they cancelled the order cos my bank was so slow to make payment, which seemed a bit odd and theyn hadn't even bothered to let me know :(
So, I had to re-order everything and surprisingly they got the payment quickly....
2, 1 item I bought was a large wooden house with 2 ramps and a front opening. The ramps wouldn't stay on at any price and the front falls off constantly so none of my pigs liked it. Tried supergluing the bits on, still wouldn't work.
    3. Bought some paste stuff that is supposed to help cats reduce fur balls. It was reviewed as being "irresistable" to cats - mine wouldn't even look at it!
    4. Bought some fish oil stuff to help cats' digestion and promote good health, better coat etc etc. Again shown as "irresistable" to cats. My cat is v. old so I thought this would be good for him. He Refused to touch it. Wrote to Zooplus asking if I could give it to the dog instead - no reply. :(
    4. Bought some hideously expensive supplement for my dog who has bad arthritis. Reviewers said their dogs were showing signs of improvement from first couple of weeks. I went mad (financially) and bought 3 months supply thinking that would be a good test and worth it to help my dog. Difference it made to my dog - NONE.
    5. Bought a variety of treats for GPs including baskets with various stuff inside. They rejected the treats but nibbled on the baskets a bit. Bought some grasses etc. - most of which were ignored.

So, as I said I felt justified using the grabbit code. Have bought 2 small bags of grain free GP food with it - so will see if they eat it or not. At least this time I won't have wasted any money!

PS - I haven't bought GP food from them otherwise because I think the brands they stock are VERY expensive and I haven't even heard of some of them.

Sorry to be such a bah humbug - but you did ask ;)

I didn't want to post all of this before because I didn't want to spoil people's fun at using the grabbit and I didn't want to bring the OP down because it was a good grabbit. :T

Nice to meet another GP fan on here I wonder if I "know" you from any of the GP forums?
    PS I'm nice really :)

I haven't received my order yet, but because of the festive period, I'm not worried. However, I can't get my tracking number to work - has everyone else managed to track their order online?

Don't worry, you still have plenty time yet to receive your parcel, I'd be very surprised if you actually did recieve it by now as there has been hardly any post on due to the new year, sunday and then bank hol today. I am aware that there is also still hundreds of bags of parcels stuck and yet to be delievered. I received one of my parcels but I did receive my dispatch email before you did and I am still awaiting one more. So don't worry everyone, they will turn up very soon! :j

I think you're right, with all the Bank Holidays I think we need to write off about a week anyway, let alone with the previous backlog from the weather. :)

Yep it definitely was a brilliant grabbit...assuming that everything turns up, of course, but I've no reason to think that it won't.

Even if people had shared any negative reviews of using Zooplus before, I'm sure it wouldn't have made any difference. People would've still taken up the offer, regardless, but it was very nice of you to consider the feelings of fellower MSE'ers....not everyone does! :)

(I'm a member of one gp forum. Not sure if I'm allowed to say on here so let's just say it's THE guinea pig forum (in the UK), if you catch my drift! ;) )
