Who owns the router?

Seems you may have O2 home broadband takeaway and the £50 would have been credited to your first bill and the router needs to be returned. The box for the Basics and Access costs £30; the box for the All Rounder and the Works costs £50. This cost will be credited back to your first bill depending on which package you sign up for - The Basics and Access customers will be credited with £30, and those customers who take the All Rounder and the Works will be credited with £50. The box remains O2's and you'll have to return it if you leave O2.0

I got caught out by this. I presumed the router was mine considering the initial set up fee's. I got a letter a few weeks later demanding the router back or payment would be taken. No biggy, sent it back and it was fine. But I had to go and buy a new router.'Never forget that only dead fish swim with the stream.'
