Ending My Internet Contract

Is there any way of me getting out of my internet contract with my provider without payng the remainder of my contract (8 months x 15 pounds)? It's ridiculous that they want me to pay 120 quid for them to do naff all . It's bad enough my house burned down, which is why I'm cancelling it anyway, without paying the internet off. Is it just something I'm going to have to do or does anyone know how to get out of it? Thanks very much!

It's just something you're going to have to do I'm afraid, sorry to hear about the house burning down. Are you moving to a new house? You could take up service at your new address on the same contract?0

Just a thought - would this charge be possible to recover in your home insurance claim?0
