How did you notify them you had started work?
To have paid you this money someone has run through your claim,
its it still live and therefore you will continue now to get payments....
You know what you need to do so phone up and sort it.
Its only official error if you can prove you notified them of the change, eg you started work you put it in writing, you notified them and its on record
