Reserves are a waste of money - you pay a % of the reserve price which is non-refundable if the item does not sell; they tend to put buyers off and have to be £50 or above. I will thanks a lot, to get them up quicker someone I know and trust has offered to put them up for me, take photos etc. I was going to have four photos of the shoes with the boxes, showing each side, is that enough? Tell me when these are on eBay please love these shoes never Ming when shoes are new without box not really important and I have never heard of these shows being faked. Just make sure you package them well when sendingThanks for the replies guys. So basically selling individual pairs would be better. I have been looking into eBay fees and PayPal fees, if I want to have the payment option as PayPal only is that ok? It seems to be the safest method for all. With the P&P charges should I offer different methods of sending and ask people to contact me for prices? Or should I find out a few before hand and list them as set? Also I want to sell within the UK only, can I block people from other countries bidding?
I've brought quite a lot from eBay and never had a bad experience, then again I only buy from sellers with 100% feedback or 99.7% lowest.
The shoes are all size 5. I'm also thinking of selling a pair of new boxed Iron Fist lacey days boots, and a pair of three quarter length Emu Australia boots, new and still tell me when these sretagged but box is quite damaged. I assume I should photograph all boxes and company packaging as well? Reserve can sometimes put people offOk cool thanks. So not bother with couriers or anything? The boxes I'd say are a bit bigger than standard shoe boxes, quite fancy
I was thinking of wrapping them in bubble wrap then brown card to send. I've just had a look on eBay at prices of others like mine, many are going for £80 to £100 ish, there aren't any listings for the bag I've got on the UK site. Ok I'll post here to let you guys know when they go up. I'm not going to have reserve now, they will be ranging in price from £30 to £80 for the shoes and bag being sold together. I have Someone whos offered to do the photos etc tomorrow and stick them up for me. I'm going to do a tad more research then they'll go up. Thanks a lot everyone, you've all been so helpful . Can I caution please about mentioning when you list- that will identify your selling account and often causes problems on open forums like this.
