How can i connect son's Xbox, PC and Wii Netflix to main PC

Hi, i have a main PC that i have had about 5yrs and have tried for several months to connect my son's xbox that is upstairs, his PC that is upstairs and now cannot even get Netflix on the Wii which is downstairs. Yet my laptop works fine from the main Belkin router anywhere in the house. Everytime i try to connect any of the others we get so close, then something comes up like error code or as with the PC upstairs, just that there is no connection. It is so frustrating as we have all of these things that we can't get to work, my son wants to go online and play games with his friends as he does at his nanas on their xbox. Can someone tell me where i am going wrong please. Is it the router, it is Belkin and i am with TalkTalk ????

You don't want to connect the devices to the 'main PC', you want to connect them to the wireless router. Which is just a matter of identifying your wireless network on the list of those available, and connecting to it by entering the wireless encryption key.
His PC upstairs will need a wireless card (not normally built into desktop PC's) in order to connect to anything.
To get meaningful advice you need to post the exact error message you get when trying to connect.
Have you tried logging into the router interface and changing the wireless channel? Neighbours may be running on the same channel.
TT will not be able tohelp you, as your wireless set up beyond the router is nothing to do with them.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
