Hi, i was considering moving my broadband and phone package from Demon / BT to Pipex Homecall. Rang Demon for my MAC nad they reduced my 8 meg home service from £19.99 to £17.99 no questions asked.
Obviously you need to be outside or at the end of your contracted period.
As an aside haven't moved to Pipex due to concerns over quality of their service (see dedicated broadband message boards) but have amended my phone package, thanks to excellent advice on this site, to BT Together Option 1 (Line only), Primus Saver2 (free evening and weekend calls) and 18185 (all other calls).
My advice dont bundle your broadband and phone if you rely / need a reliable broadband service. It's almost always hassle getting a quality broadband service from the likes of TalkTalk, Tiscali, Pipex etc
Regards

Same story - phoned 0800 800030 and said I wanted my MAC to leave BT - they reduced my monthly from £17.99 to £13.99, upgraded to 8Mb and are sending me a new modem. If your no longer tied in its well worth a try.:beer:0

Bumped this as worth taking note of if want to reduce your monthly fee and are out of contract with your ISP.0

Are you on the 18 month contract, i.e. 13.99 p.m. for 6 months then 22.99 p.m. for 12 months?0
