So you paid nothing for something,'something' worked and yet you still find yourself hard done by.
My God!
If the item itself had been sent free, then you might have a point. But the receipt of the £10 and the purchase of the bulb are separate transactions.
Imagine that instead of receiving digital "credit", the buyer had been given a £10 note. And then was ripped off or as in this case received poor service. IMHO They are just as justified being miffed by the poor seller service as if the £10 came out of their hard earned. I don't think the £10 being a digital "credit" makes a significant difference to the situation.0 -

Personally I would raise an SNAD claim on ebay and hope they assist with return postage (they do on occasions). If not use a service like Collect Plus or even standard 2nd class recorded and keep proof of posting in case it never shows as an attempted delivery and you need to claim from courier.
If you use standard 2nd class recorded for instance it will cost you £3.15 to return but you'll get your full item cost and the £5 postage you originally paid back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
