Primus Saver Option 2 not available via USwitch

Hi, i just read Heinz's very helpful post about cutting your phone costs and remaining with BT for line rental. See here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=1598074&postcount=4

When I went to sign up to Primus on uswitch but the saver2 option wasn't available. An exclusive uswitch offer of Talk1 was offered instead, with a £1.49 month fee.

However the saver2 is available on the Primus website. You will need to call Primus and sign up i guess.

Regards

Swanny

Thanks again Heinz.

Martin pointed this out in his own thread in January ('twas an easy thread to search for because I remembered his use of the word 'fiddly' to describe the Uswitch offering).

If you want to get the Quidco cashback (IIRC, £16) for going via them to get to the Uswitch site, you may still consider it worthwhile.

OTOH, as the 'real' Primus Saver Option 2 was available via Uswitch last year, it might be worth waiting until next month to see whether it appears again.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

I just searched uswitch now and it is available.

When you put in your call profile, just say you only make local/national calls in evening and weekend, and then Primus Call Saver option 2 will appear.

Thanks Heinz, I think I'll wait as it's only going to save me about a £1 per month anyway on eve/wk calls.
