  • I know of a person who had to sell her collection of figurines, she sold alot as a job lot.

These were purchased and then split and re sold under buy it now offers.....nothing wrong in this, alot of people do this, The buyer had 1 name for buying and 1 name for selling. The original person who sold them found out and (under a second id herself) was furious and pressed buy it now on every single figurines, and within minutes gave this poor fellow 46 neg feedbacks!!!

It turned out that the buyer was trying to raise money to send his baby for a heart operation in the States, and through jealously and anger this seller nearly ruined his 100% feedback!!! Fortunately ebay have now removed all the negs, but the original seller still remains on ebay and has not been kicked off!!!

When ever I list anything on ebay I will not take a risk and start anything off at a price I wouldn't be happy at getting even with 1 bid.

There are some nasty folk out there waiting to cause disruption, wether buyers or sellers, you have to be on your guard.

Cor I saw one of those sales the other day in Nottingham city centre, I thought they went out with the ark LOL
I can remember going in one, and hubby grabbing hold of my arm saying don't move a muscle LOL

Are you implying that I'm old.
  • I have just sent him a message saying that i'm concerned about his feedback and why was feedback left so quickly after a sale as pointed out earlier in the thread.

    This was his reply;

The guy who left a negative HAS NOT PAID, and has therefore not recieved the item. could people stop being annoying!. i left feedback before realising this - but will report non paying bidder as soon as i can (7 day min).

Hmmm and this is his reply to a polite question, somehow I think i'll stay clear!!

Hopefully he'll be able to afford his electric wheelchair soon, then he can whizz down to woolies and they can confirm the amount on each card before he loses too much money selling these cards at way below their value.:rotfl:
  • LOL but don't forget he doesn't have a Woolworths by him!!!

Very strange I have at least 3 within 5 miles........

Thats why he needs the electric wheelchair, perhaps we could offer to let him recharge the battery at MSErs homes on the long journey.
  • Well in the last week and half he's made almost £490 from selling these vouchers.

Guess he's on his way to gold plated wheel trims :)

I'm definately in the wrong job lol

It was one of his buyers that left positive feedback that must have recieved the item within 8 minutes, he carefully avoided answering that one.

    How was this verified?

It's incredible how many people are selling things on ebay for operations and disablity support equipment.

    Quite incredible!
