i voted against it and am still against it, the building is a financial disgrace !!! 50.3 % of those who bothered to turn up to vote voted yes (not exactly a success but how can the remaining people in wales complain as they couldnt be bothered) and the majority of those YES votes came from people living in north wales. i cant understand why they didnt build there !!!!!

I didn't get a vote as I lived in England at the time. Now I have returned and my first horror was discovering how bad the NHS is on this side of the border.

Waiting lists are so long that care is not delivered when needed and some tests need to be redone because the results are out of date by the time the remaining ones get done. Seeing the GP of your choice on a timely basis is almost impossible.

I think the prescription issue is a fallacy, nicely wrapped up for the consumer as a cost saving. In England a doctor can put two months' worth of meds on a script, but in Wales it's one month only. Just how much money is therefore being diverted into the increased admin loads on GPs and taling time out when they could be seeing patients.

And that's just the NHS!

Another layer of government wasting our money and a convenient way for Westminster to dodge any issues they do not want to face. A brilliant tactic by New Labour to retain the power but dispense with the responsibility.

We are £400 a year worse off due to council tax rebanding, thats a lot of presciptions.
