No worries.I suppose "openly" may not have been correct.It is in the Competitions Section of MSE forums though it may be a wee bit hidden away from the casual visitor.

Postcode Lottery are on the MSE spam list, but obviously that's not the same as being banned.

When someone says that I think it's fairly obvious that they know that they are not the same thing.

i tend to get miss calls from unknown phone numbers on my comping mobile.

i take it legitimate comps dont hide their numbers (?)

They do sometimes. I have had some big wins from withheld numbers.

I remember years ago getting phone call.of people's lottery

it was guy who phone no.matter that I kept saying, I didn't want to sign up.for the lottery he kept asking why in end I just hung up on him

I have only been informed about a win once via a phonecall and it was from a withheld number (it was from The Sun). I'm sure they'd leave a voicemail though if they never got through to someone.

My hubby answered the phone a few weeks ago and it was the Postcode lottery twonks, he dealt with them by constantly interrupting their speil saying 'I win lottery??!!' in a funny voice, he must of said it about 30 times, I was laughing so much I had tears.....then he paused, and screamed "Mum, there's a man saying we won the lottery!! Mum!! quick! Uncork the Lambrini!"
By this point the man had gone...but I couldn't stop laughing! you might have had to be there though....;-)
