I got an automated call on my mobile yesterday but switched off as soon as I realised it was automated but when I went to switch off my phone had gone onto Internet and mobile data was flashed up, I usually have these switched off so I'm wondering if they've tried hacking into my phone.

When i answer these type of calls i listen to them until i know its a load of crap and just simply hang up , usually only takes a few seconds until you know.

I entered 2 of their Ipad comps and both times I got a call from them a couple of days later, asking me to take out a subscription with them.

Ticking the box saying that you already play makes no difference.

Not going to bother with these comps again. It makes you wonder if the comps really exist, but just use them to collect people's details.

I have just received this email, supposedly from "The Postcode Lottery".

I have no idea where they have obtained some of the information from, but it is puzzling because my family does not do the lottery.

Here is a screen captured image of how the email looked when I received it, clearly asking me to "ACTIVATE"... something.

I can't seem to post my image because I am new to the Forum, so I hope this will change soon, but be careful, I hope this helps and please be aware !

I had the same one in my spam folder, I deleted it straight away.

They are two quite separate things,Roger.

The spam list is openly posted for all to read & be aware of.

The MSE Admin banned/blocked list is not posted on here & is constantly evolving.

Some sites are on both the Spam list & the MSE blocked list.

You say that the spam list is "openly posted", but I'm not convinced :rotfl:

Maybe it's a sticky somewhere in the MSE forums, but not on comps AFAIK.

I was grateful for CheCazzo sharing it.
