Auto Reisen Car Hire - Is there an excess??

Auto Reisen seem to be the best value for Spain this year - eg £116 for 8 days car in Tenerife for a Ford Focus.

However, can anyone tell me if there is an excess on the insurance?

(Some of the hire companies who used to do zero excess, like CarJet for instance, now have excesses on the insurance.)

I don't think we had an excess with them in december.

The insurance is with no excess. We don't offer Damage Excess waiver, because there is nothing to waive. Please be aware that this normally means about £15 to £20 a week that should be added to the price of most other companies.

is it full to full basis or full to empty?

Full to full.

I'm off to Tenerife in November and looking for car hire and it looks the best value car hire place I've seen. Although they do use an exchange rate of £1=1.35 euros, so add about £10-20 on to your quote for a week car hire.

WARNING: They had some right old Knackers at Auto Reisen at the airport in Tenerife.

We got a Focus, but it was about 5 years old and had about 150,000kms on it!!

My recommendation would be to AVOID this hire company in Tenerife!
