Hi
I have noticed people complaining about sellers based in Hong Kong/China.
I for one do not understand what the problem is. Am I missing something????

The only thing I can think of, is they advertise that the item is in this country. If you search for an item and tick 'items in the uk', all these other stuff from HongKong/China comes up as well.
You can't filter out their listings. Its false advertising and ebay won't do something about it.
If you want to find items located in this country, you should be able to filter out the other stuff. If only everything in life was as reliable...AS ME !!

I've bought many items at great prices without problem. I guess some sellers don't state that the goods will be sent from HK/China and upset buyers by delivering 1 to 2 weeks from the end of the auction. I think the drop-shipers are to blame for this because they are UK registered.0 -

The item is £4, no bids, closes within the hour. Shanghai is described as being in the United Kingdom.
Oh, and I nearly forgot, the shipping is £178.00. Hope sombody reads that bit of the small print before they slap on a last minute bid. There are thousands of auctions like this - low bid price and fantastical shipping charges.0 -
If you don't want to buy from them, it's a pain in the rrrse wading through their listings.

That's something that would have caught my eye and I might have bid for if it hadn't been for this site.
But £178?
It's still loading after a few minutes - that might catch people out too. They might bid in the last few minutes without seeing it.
If anyone's wary of items from China, check out ladies handbags. It's rife with items like that - which is a shame for 'real' sellers.0 -
Theoretically they won't be allowed to do this after 1st June.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for ebay to enforce it though.0 -
Perhaps ebay won't do it of their own volition, but I can see a new career opening for me as a grasser-upper of mainland China sellers.0

And you think ebay will do anything about it when you do?0
