Before everyone starts shouting.... "DON'T LIKE,DON'T BID"....
.... I am just posting this because I have never seen such a combination of sales volume, feedback attained (thousands, but not all good
), postal costs, fee avoidance and all for goods clearly listed as in the UK.
Item location:
NO RESERVE PLACE United Kingdom
Postage costs:
Royal Mail Standard Parcels (Within United Kingdom ) £17.99
And this is the best bit........................... :rotfl:
Warranty:
Customers must return defective items at his/her own cost and will be charged a return shipping fee for the replacement item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. In the event that a suitable replacement is not available, a refund (less shipping and handling) will be issued in the form of the original payment method.
So........ :rotfl:
Bid = 1p
Shipping = £17-99
Goods Faulty
Pay To Ship Goods Back = £3-00 (absolute max)
Return shipping fee = £10-00 maybe?
And all to get your 1p back :rotfl:

CRAZY ?!
** Getting back in the swing of saving again.... **

Trying to find the best deals to save as much as we can..........0 -
This item is coming from Hong Kong and the P+P is standard for this item. It will allow you to save on VAT and possible import duty and obvioulsy saving him ebay fees.
As for his return fees they are a little onerous. You would probably be fine but with the quantity this guy is shifting there are bound to be a few lemons.
I have bought a few MP3s from Hong Kong and all were fine.
I would probably bid on this and take a chance but I would factor in the chances of getting a dud into my pricing decision. His feedback is not great but still above 98% so acceptable.
There are loads of these on EBay all coming in from China via Hong Kong the earphones are apparently not up to much but the machines are supposed to be OK. Check out other sellers and their selling policies.
You need to trade smart on these.0 -

I take your points, however I should have elaborated a little, and now having seen the £5.99 Insurance. :eek: I have to ask WHY anyone would buy these?
£12.00 (Final price average)
£17.99 (Shipping)
£5.99 (Insurance)
£35.98 (Total)

The unit (after 10 mins research) appears to be the 256Mb CnMemory USB Drive MP3/WMA Player available in the UK for £35 to £39
Example...

Now... (and I haven't compared the two properly yet) assuming they are comparable to each other, I know who I'd rather purchase from.

Yes, and a fine example of the blindness that EBay installs in some buyers ........ Which ain't so bad given that I'm 99% seller.
EBay is not an anagram of "cheapest place to buy everything" ...
