I imagine that as you worked the last part of the month then you just missed the cut off to get your wages at the end of the month. You have to get the paperwork to finance by the 12th of the month where I work to ensure payment at the end of the month.
I imagine that if you are patient the money will be paid at the end of August. As other people have Said though, I wouldn't be in a rush to pay you as you have messed your employer about. There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.0 -

I already spoke to them unofficially on the phone where they told me they were witholding my pay. Then I rang ACAS and they said to write an official grievance letter which I did by email, and they responded similarly. That's when I sought legal advice and was told to take it to tribunal.0 -

My lawyer is certain that I will get the money, but of course there is paperwork and a potential tribunal which equals time. I am considering if it's worth attaching a claim for loss of earnings due to not having the capital required to start my venture, which would otherwise be off the ground in about a week from now had I been paid at the time agreed on my contract.

Unfortunately, I was going to use that payment due to me after leaving as capital to purchasing a few things that I would need to get it off the ground.

Loss of earning for an imaginery business that can be set up with 6 days wages from a proper company after standard living expences.
lets remind you
the 6 days I've worked there... which is about £500.
How much are you thinking of claiming for these loss of earnings?0 -
