Depends if QQ use experian,0 -
I've been to the police, they've recorded it and given me an incident number. They couldn't have been nicer to me and said its covered my back just in case.
Will put everything in writing now with the incident number to quickquid. I really appreciated the advice earlier. Thank you xThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

If you haven't done so already, I suggest you change the password on your email account to something completely new.
And be careful about what information you post to the web.
I believe from what yuo've written here that I know your first and middle names.0 -

Yes I'd already done that and changed my password to something quite bizarre. I didn't put my real details in the name but have starred out everything nowThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

An update .... Quickquid rang me last night and asked me if I lived in Portsmouth and if I was born in 1956. I said no to both and they have confirmed that someone with the same full name as me has used my email address possibly by mistake.
They have removed my email address from their database and will be contacting my namesake to get the correct email.
Alls well that ends wellThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

E.g. maybe another Julie Smith applied and put their email address as juliesmith65@... rather than juliesmith56@...?0 -
Really? All this panic and confusion and no one suggested they have used the wrong email?0

We have seen many posts on here where loan repayments have been taken for loans which never appeared in the first place.
If anything, this post describes exactly the correct procedure when this happens.0 -

Didn't think of it being the wrong email address as they had the OP's name.
But if both of their email addresses are based on their name, then it's perfectly reasonable for someone with the same name getting an email for the wrong person...0 -
