From the other posts on your link it sounds like an issue which affects a lot of Galaxy Aces. Could you not just get a yellow background on the lock screen to mask it?0

This is known problem with many Galaxy phones inc Aces and S2.
From what I know you will need to reset the phone. It seem the bug is with the Android and the extra software from Samsung.
If you leave with this then I dont think this cause any other problems.0 -
They're not that bad! Upgrade to the latest software in system settings and Samsung should have fixed it. They did with my S2, thegoodman.
