Charge £2.40, Pay £5.60 and the buyer will think £2.40 was steep and give you low stars....

    What a silly system.

I'm currently maintaining a high 4.9 on all my selling accounts for p and p, but I am under no illusions that undercharging will push me up to 5*. Although I did manage it briefly for a while on my business account about 7 weeks ago.

I sold some new shoes a few weeks ago and checked them all on our kitchen scales - all seemed ok to go for £2.20 which is what I charged. However I had slight reservations about the one pair as they had a wedge heel and seemed a little heavy. When I got to the post office they were 1g UNDER the maximum allowed for £2.20 thank goodness I didnt stick another strip of parcel tape on.

Yes, same here. Sent a box of oracle cards to Greece (Delphi must have run out again), which was heavier than I thought it was. Charged £2 above the £2.70 price I'd budgeted as postage on the free postage auction.

Was very relieved I only spent £4.85 because I'd seen a £7-odd weight band for Europe.

Also have been very pleased with the 0-750g UK band. It makes things a lot simpler selling books, and possibly a bit cheaper compared to what it used to be. Surprisingly, you can get an awful lot of book for 750g.
