Equifax and Experian reports were a bit tricky to get - possibly because I've both moved house and married in the last two and a half years. Still, they weren't impossible, just needed to submit ID. Noddle doesn't give a suggestion as to how I can get any info, which seems a bit flakey...
Just bought a new house with the help of this site! :D

I tried registering for Noddle, but they "haven't been able to verify and validate" my identity, so can't provide my credit report. There's no suggestion as to how I can prove my identity. According to the site I just have to wait until they've "made updates to their processes" to "allow more people to be automatically matched", so I was a bit nonplussed with it all. I could drop them an email - it's a bit irritating to think that I can't see the information which they may be providing to creditors about me.

The only thing I can think of is that your bank or credit card issuer is not reporting back the address attached to your card, assuming that you entered the number of a debit or credit card. Not all of them do that. But they do have to be careful in verifying ID.

I'm reluctant to take out a contract mobile, because I've got a landline and have been quite happy with PAYG for years. Moreover, work provide me with a beautiful iPhone which I'm allowed to stick apps on and the like, provided I pay for that stuff myself. I simply don't think I use my mobile often enough for it not to feel like a waste of money. Will consider it though - thanks for the suggestion! :)

A contract mobile phone is not absolutely essential. It's just one of those services which reports to CRAs and is another notch on your greens.

Noddle has done something very annoying to me, it now automatically generates a report every 21st of the month. Previously it would generate one only when I logged in, as long as it has been more than one month since my last log in. Also, reports that I generated on the callcredit website used to show up on noddle, but not any more.

I had worked out that most of my banks update it around the 25th, so now I have to use the callcredit website instead of noddle. I hope they won't disable my account there.

I'd say Vanquis is the most likely.

Try this little exercise: Go to http://www.moneysupermarket.com Money > Credit Cards and "start search" at the top of the page choosing a purchase card and completing the rest of the questionaire. It will list the best cards you're most likely to get with a chance score out of 10. You'll also get your Noddle credit rating and the same info on cards by email.

Can't satisfy all of the people all of the time. Most of my accounts update on or around the 17th. :)
